Brow Lift Surgery

The first area to be affected by aging is the periorbital area, reducing the projection and volume of cheekbones, orbital rim and nasolabial fold. In rejuvenation of the frontal area, the Upper Third Facelift aims to reduce forehead wrinkles and frown lines and raise the eyebrows. This is achieved to remove the sad, tired or angry appearance that some faces looks like. Wrinkles in these areas occur as a result of hyperactivity performing frontal and corrugator muscles.

The forehead lift consists in partially stretching the muscles related before, so stop wrinkling. At the same time, the skin of the forehead is pulled upwards in order to elevate the tail of the eyebrows and give a more youthful appearance to the face.

The most advanced technique to perform the forehead lift is the endoscopic forehead lift. Instead of performing classical incision, endoscopy allows to perform treatment with only two or three small cuts, each one of 1.5 centimeters. These cuts are made into the scalp (within he hair), making them invisible. Your surgeon will recommend the best technique in your case for proper rejuvenation of the upper portion of the face.
